Job summary

City of Doncaster Council's Regulation & Enforcement Service is seeking a proactive Licensing Compliance Coordinator to join the Trading standards & licensing team. The role covers enforcement of licensing legislation, from Acupuncture to Zoo licensing, with a strong emphasis on taxi licensing and premises selling alcohol or providing regulated entertainment.

Qualifications

• Enforcement of licensing legislation and compliance monitoring.
• Experience working with licensing processes and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Enforce licensing legislation and monitor compliance across licensing functions.
• Conduct inspections and provide guidance to businesses and individuals.
• Investigate complaints, gather evidence, and interview under caution when required.
• Prepare and present cases for prosecution in line with PACE, RIPA and the Human Rights Act.
