Job summary

The City of Doncaster Council is seeking a Licensing Compliance Coordinator to support the Trading Standards & Licensing team in enforcing licensing laws and driving compliant practices across licensed premises, taxi licensing and activities from Acupuncture to Zoo licensing.

Qualifications

• Enforcement of licensing legislation and gaining compliance.
• Experience with inspections, investigations and presenting cases.
• Knowledge of PACE, RIPA and Human Rights Act guidance.

Responsibilities

• Enforce licensing legislation and monitor compliance.
• Carry out inspections and provide advice to licensed premises.
• Gather evidence and interview under caution.
• Prepare and present cases for prosecution in line with policy and guidance.
