Job summary

FutureCare is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver high-quality resident care under RN supervision in Maryland. You will assist with care planning, document care, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN license issued in Maryland.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Must possess a current CPR license and good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of the RN, assist in care planning and treatments for residents and consults with other nursing staff as appropriate with applying knowledge and resources.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge and skills required to care for the resident population on an assigned unit.
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within State and Federal guidelines.
• Document care provided and report changes in resident status to shift supervisor.
• Review all referrals for consult, treatment or resolution of problems related to documented nurse plans.
• Seek opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels.
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with FutureCare’s philosophy.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN license issued in the state of Maryland
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus
• Team player with strong work ethic and a willingness to assist where needed
• Must possess a current CPR license
• Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal communication with all personnel, residents, and families

Salary

• Competitive Salary $31.25-$36.00/hr and Shift Differential***
