Job summary

RNN Group's Rotherham College campus seeks a proactive Library and Digital Support Lead to manage both physical and digital learning spaces, guiding students to independent learning. You will bridge library management with frontline digital support, reporting to the Head of AI & Digital Innovation, and lead daily operations with Learning Resource Coordinators.

You will supervise desk operations, coordinate tech support with the Digital Hub, and drive induction, LMS usage, and collection

Qualifications

• Proven experience using Library Management Systems (LMS) and modern digital platforms.
• Supervisory experience, handling workflows and staffing rotas.
• Passion for student success with strong communication skills.
• Procurement, budgeting and curriculum collaboration capability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily library operations and staffing rotas.
• Provide hands-on tech assistance with the Digital Hub.
• Lead induction programs for students and staff.
• Utilise LMS for cataloguing, circulation and resource organisation.
• Manage collection development and budgets.
• Provide 1-to-1 coaching and drop-in support for IT literacy.
• Maintain a welcoming, safe learning environment and contribute to service planning.
