CU Academic Services Limited, a wholly owned sister company of Coventry University, is seeking to appoint a part-time Library Assistant for our City of London campus, close to Liverpool Street Station, London.
As part of the Library Academic Liaison and Skills team in London, the Library Assistant is responsible for delivering high-quality, customer-focused services to students and staff of the University, face-to-face, by phone, and online.
The role involves supporting the management of print and electronic collections, including stock circulation, acquisition and activation of new resources, digitisation, and document supply services.
This position is based at the Liverpool Street campus of Coventry University London and is a 0.5 FTE role, working an average of 18.75 hours per week over 5 days (Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 12:30).
You should have a good standard of education, including GCSEs in English and Maths, and be confident using Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
This is a customer-facing role, so excellent customer service and professionalism are essential.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
