CU Academic Services Limited, a wholly owned sister company of Coventry University, is seeking to appoint a part-time Library Assistant for our North Greenwich campus which is adjacent to the O2 arena, London.
As part of the Library Academic Liaison and Skills team in London, a Library Assistant role is to deliver a high quality customer focused service to students and staff of the University, face to face, by phone and online. They help to underpin the student experience by undertaking a range of duties supporting the management of print and electronic collections, including circulation of stock, the acquisition and activation of new resources, digitisation and document supply services.
This post is based at the North Greenwich campus of CU London, and is 0.5 FTE position working an average of 18.75 hours a week across Monday to Friday around the hours of 10.30 – 2.30pm, however we are able to consider alternative working hours.
You will have a good standard of education including GCSE level in English and Maths, and be a confident user of Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. This role is a customer facing role therefore you will be required to offer an excellent level of customer service and professionalism.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal are essential.
