CU Academic Services Limited, a wholly owned sister company of Coventry University, is seeking to appoint a part-time Library Assistant for our City of London campus which is close to Liverpool Street Station, London.
As part of the Library Academic Liaison and Skills team in London, the Library Assistant will deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service to students and staff of the University, face-to-face, by phone, and online.
The role involves supporting the management of print and electronic collections, including stock circulation, resource acquisition and activation, digitisation, and document supply services.
This position is based at the Liverpool Street campus of Coventry University London, working 0.5 FTE, averaging 18.75 hours over a 5-day week (Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 12:30).
You should have a good standard of education, including GCSEs in English and Maths, and be confident in using Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
This customer-facing role requires excellent customer service skills and professionalism. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
