Job summary

Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service in Malvern is seeking an LGV Mechanic to maintain and repair their fleet of appliances and specialist vehicles across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The role is based in our modern workshop at Betony Road, with occasional remote work at fire stations.

You will need time-served LGV/HGV/PSV experience; the role offers 37 hours per week, a salary of £35,570–£37,563 with a guaranteed allowance and on-call pay.

Qualifications

• Need time-served LGV/HGV/PSV experience.
• Training provided for specialist aspects as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational fire appliances and specialist vehicles.
• Work at Betony Road Malvern with remote duties at fire stations across Herefordshire & Worcestershire.
• Participate in on-call rota as required.
