Job summary

ASC Connections Worcestershire is seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join a well-established transport and logistics business with a large fleet of commercial vehicles and trailers.

In this role you will service, maintain and repair HGVs and trailers, perform safety inspections, diagnose faults, prepare vehicles for MOT testing and keep accurate maintenance records in a safe workshop environment. Early and late shifts are available, with every second Saturday rota.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• A valid HGV driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers.
• Perform safety inspections and diagnose mechanical faults.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and ensure roadworthiness.
• Drive vehicles to tests when required.

Are you an experienced HGV Mechanic looking for your next opportunity?

We're recruiting for an HGV Mechanic to join a well-established transport and logistics business, maintaining a large fleet of commercial vehicles and trailers in a supportive workshop environment.

The Role

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers.
• Completing safety inspections and diagnosing mechanical faults.
• Preparing vehicles for MOT testing and ensuring roadworthiness.
• Driving vehicles to tests when required.
• Completing maintenance records and ensuring workshop safety standards are maintained.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
• Relevant mechanical qualifications and strong diagnostic skills.
• Experience maintaining and repairing HGVs and trailers.
• A valid HGV driving licence is essential.

Working Hours

• Early shift: 06:00-14:30.
• Late shift: 12:00-20:30.
• Every second Saturday: 07:00-12:00.
