Job summary

Alliance Healthcare Management Services Limited is seeking a safety-focused LGV Driver (Class C) for our Plymouth site. You will deliver customer orders across the South of England, ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries and exceptional service while adhering to transport regulations and company procedures.

The role requires a valid HGV Class C licence, Driver CPC, and tachograph qualifications, with experience in rigid or articulated vehicles. Competitive salary and company benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Certification in dangerous goods awareness or related licensure required.
• Less than 2 years in transport/logistics preferred.
• Must hold HGV Class C license and Driver CPC.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders across the South of England in line with scheduled routes and delivery times.
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately, consistently, and to a high standard.
• Operate LGV vehicles safely and in accordance with road transport legislation.
• Comply with Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive requirements.
• Maintain vehicle care and practice fuel-efficient driving.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support operational objectives and service levels.
• Meet performance targets and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow safe working practices and report issues promptly.
