Job summary

Cencora in Plymouth is seeking a safety-focused LGV Driver (Class C) to join our Cross Dock Centre. You will deliver customer orders across the South of England, ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries while upholding transport regulations and company procedures.

The role requires a valid HGV Class C license, Driver CPC and tachograph card, plus experience with rigid or articulated vehicles. We offer a competitive salary, pension, holiday entitlement, and opportunities for training and career

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class C or C+E driving licence.
• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience driving commercial vehicles (rigid or articulated).
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK road network.
• Strong tachograph regulations knowledge and Working Time Directive.
• Ability to complete tachograph entries accurately.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Good numeracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders across the South of England on schedule and per routes.
• Ensure deliveries are accurate and high quality.
• Operate LGV vehicles safely and efficiently in line with transport laws.
• Comply with Drivers’ Hours Regulations and company policies.
• Maintain vehicle health and fuel-efficient driving.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet service targets.
• Meet performance targets and support continuous improvement.
• Report any issues or non-compliance promptly.
