Job summary

Alliance Healthcare is seeking an LGV Class 1 Driver to operate from the Basingstoke CDC, with a 40-hour weekly schedule. The role involves loading, unloading, and delivering products while maintaining inventory accuracy and strict safety standards.

The candidate should have 2+ years in logistics or warehousing, a full UK driving licence, and experience with warehouse processes. Training and a supportive environment are provided, along with a competitive salary and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment is required.
• Good understanding of inventory control and stock management processes.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform loading, unloading, picking, packing, and transfer activities to support the timely movement of products.
• Receive, check, store, and replenish stock to maintain inventory accuracy and product availability.
• Complete shipment, receipt, inventory, and delivery documentation accurately.
• Inspect vehicles, equipment, and cargo before and after use, reporting any issues promptly.
• Support the safe and efficient transportation of products between locations.
• Communicate delivery instructions, shipment updates, and discrepancies to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain warehouse and storage areas in a clean, organised, and safe condition.
• Provide routine customer and administrative support relating to warehouse, inventory, and delivery activities.
