Job summary

DPD Goole is seeking a reliable LGV Driver to join our national transport team, driving a modern fleet and ensuring timely collections and deliveries.

You will work a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with shift patterns and a night-rate premium described in the job listing. We offer holiday trading, enhanced family leave, and wellbeing support as part of our benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence, CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent knowledge of UK roads and a safety-first mindset.
• You’re a resourceful problem-solver who can work under pressure and hit deadlines while delivering great service.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries, focusing on LGV-friendly locations.
• Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and digital tachographs to manage your route and remain 100% compliant.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prioritise safe driving in all conditions.
