Job summary

DPDgroup in the UK is seeking a reliable LGV Driver to join our national transport team, moving bulk collections between DPD sites and major customers.

You'll work Sundays to Thursdays in a 40-hour week, operate a modern fleet with GPS and tachographs, earn £17.91 per hour plus a night-rate premium and enhanced overtime. We value safety, punctual service and a proactive, customer-facing mindset, with career growth within a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) licence, CPC card, and Digital Tachograph card.
• At least 6 months experience with Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent knowledge of UK roads and a safety-first mindset.
• Resourceful, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries.

What You Bring

• The License: Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence, CPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• The Experience: At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles.

• The Pay: £17.91ph + £2.72 ph night rate premium between 18:00 to 06:00 + enhanced overtime rate
• Contract Type: Permanent 40 Hours Per Week
• Days of Work: Sunday to Thursday
• Shift Pattern: Sunday 15:45 to 01:00 / Monday to Thursday 17:15 - 04:00 (Due to the nature of our business these times may change but typically no more than an hour or 2)
