Job summary

DPD Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a reliable LGV Driver to join our team, operating a modern fleet and keeping the nation moving with a strong focus on safety and service.

You’ll contribute to nationwide collections and deliveries from DPD sites to major customers, using GPS and tachographs, while upholding a safety-first approach and professional customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) licence, CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
• At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads and a safety-first mindset.
• You’re a resourceful problem-solver who can work under pressure and hit deadlines while delivering great service.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries, focusing on LGV-friendly locations.
• Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and digital tachographs to manage your route and remain 100% compliant.
• The Face of DPD: Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prioritise safe driving in all conditions.

What You Bring
