Job summary

Turners (Soham) Ltd in Manchester at Trafford Park is hiring LGV Class 1 food grade tanker weekend shift drivers. Shifts available: Tue-Sat, Wed-Sun, Thu-Mon, Fri-Mon nights out may be required. You will work as part of a friendly team, ensuring safe and timely deliveries to food-grade customers.

You must hold a Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with Driver CPC and a Tachograph card. Tanker experience is preferred but not essential; all drivers will receive CPC training during employment.

Qualifications

• Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence required.
• Driver CPC and Tachograph card holder required.
• Tanker experience preferred but not essential.
• Minimum PPE of safety boots.

Responsibilities

• Drive food-grade tanker from Manchester depot (Trafford Park).
• Operate weekend shifts (Tue-Sat, Wed-Sun, Thu-Mon, Fri-Mon nights out).
• Comply with Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Provide professional customer service and teamwork with planning staff.

Turners (Soham) Ltd is seeking to recruit LGV Class 1 food grade tanker weekend shift Drivers to be based at our Manchester depot at Trafford ParkShifts available: Tuesday to Saturday , Wednesday to Sunday , Thursday to Monday, Friday to Monday shifts nights out will be requiredAs a professional driver you will be required to demonstrate skill, professionalism, and excellent customer service. Working for our Food Grade Division you will develop close working relationships with your planning and training team, alongside other drivers and staff members in a close-knit organisation that strives to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for all. The haulage industry is one of varying hours and timings and will require potential candidates to be flexible in their approach to start and finish times. Shift lengths do vary but you will be expected to comply with the Tachograph & Working Time Directive regulations at all times. As a large and ever-expanding company, Turners can take on new drivers with limited experience. All we ask is you are willing and keen to learn, growing our driving group with knowledgeable and competent members.
