Job summary

Turners (Soham) Ltd is recruiting LGV Class 1 Tanker Drivers for the Castleford depot. You will operate modern tankers, delivering foods-grade products to customers with professionalism and reliability.

Flexible shift patterns include day and night shifts, with training provided. The role offers overtime, weekly pay, and a company pension, along with uniform and a retention bonus for ongoing service.

Qualifications

• Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence and Driver CPC & Tacho Card are essential.
• Tanker experience preferred but not required; training provided.
• Minimum PPE: Safety Boots; adherence to Working Time Directive and tachograph rules.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV Class 1 Tanker units from Castleford depot.
• Ensure safe loading, unloading and delivery of goods to customers.
• Maintain accurate tachograph records and complete daily vehicle check sheets.
• Attend training sessions and comply with company policies and procedures.

Tanker Driver - CastlefordTurners (Soham) Ltd is seeking to recruit LGV Class 1 Tanker Drivers to be based at our Castleford depot WF10 2AL.As a professional and skilled driver, you will be required to demonstrate professionalism and courteous conduct to our customers. As a driver within our Foods Grade Products division, you will develop close working relationships with your planning, training, and supervisory team, and driving colleagues in an organisation that strives to create a welcoming and comfortable environment.Our customers have variable loading and delivery times that are governed by factory production schedules, meaning that drivers will need to be flexible, when required, with shift starting and finishing times. Shift lengths do vary but you are expected to comply with all Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations at all times.Turners can offer employment to suitable newly qualified drivers with limited experience, and full training will be provided to these candidates.
