Job summary

Turners (Soham) Ltd seeks LGV Class 1 food grade tanker drivers based at Wissington depot PE33 9QG. Shifts include day and night, with flexible start times and compliance with Tachograph rules.

Applicants should hold a Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC and Tacho Card. Tanker experience is preferred but not essential; training and development are provided in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence is required.
• Driver CPC & Tacho Card are required.
• Tankers experience is preferred but not essential.
• Minimum PPE: Safety Boots.

Responsibilities

• Operate food-grade tanker deliveries and collections in compliance with road regulations.
• Maintain vehicle and report defects.

Turners (Soham) Ltd is seeking to recruit LGV Class 1 food grade tanker Drivers to be based at our Wissington depot PE33 9QG.**Shifts available:** Day shifts and Night shiftsAs a professional driver you will be required to demonstrate skill, professionalism, and excellent customer service. Working for our Food Grade Division you will develop close working relationships with your planning and training team, alongside other drivers and staff members in a close-knit organisation that strives to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for all. The haulage industry is one of varying hours and timings and will require potential candidates to be flexible in their approach to start and finish times. Shift lengths do vary but you will be expected to comply with the Tachograph & Working Time Directive regulations at all times. As a large and ever-expanding company, Turners can take on new drivers with limited experience. All we ask is you are willing and keen to learn, growing our driving group with knowledgeable and competent members.
