Job summary

Turners (Soham) Ltd is recruiting LGV Class 1 drivers to be based at the Newmarket Depot. You will work within our Fridge division, developing strong links with planning and supervisory teams to ensure smooth deliveries.

Various shifts available (Mon-Fri, Sun-Thurs, Thurs-Sun) with early and day start times. Training is provided, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance; weekly pay and a range of benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Full LGV (C+E) Class 1 licence is required.
• Driver CPC and Tacho Card must be held.
• Good written and spoken English knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV Class 1 vehicles for fridge division as required.
• Comply with Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations.

Turners (Soham) is recruiting LGV Class1 drivers to be based at our Newmarket Depot.As a professional and skilled driver you will be required to demonstrate professionalism and courteous conduct to our customers. As a driver within our Fridge division, you will develop close working relationships with your planning, training, and supervisory team, and driving colleagues in an organisation that strives to create a welcoming and comfortable environment.Our customers have variable delivery times that are governed by needs, capacity and schedules, meaning that drivers will need to has some flexibility, with shift starting and finishing times. Shift lengths do vary but you are expected to comply with all Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations at all times.Turners can offer employment to suitable newly qualified drivers with limited experience, and full training will be provided to these candidates.
