Job summary

We are seeking Class 1 Tanker Drivers for the Bellshill Depot (ML4 3NY) in the Müller Milk & Ingredients Distribution team. This permanent, full-time role offers modern vehicles, no overnight stays, and a range of benefits.

Inbound Tanker Drivers transport milk from farms to sites within the network with safe, timely deliveries and proper documentation. Role includes vehicle checks, route planning, and acting as the professional face of the business, ensuring compliance with safety regulations

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E), CPC, digital card.
• Max 6 minor licence points (no serious convictions).
• Physically fit.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

We are seeking Class 1 Tanker Drivers to join our Bellshill Depot (ML4 3NY) within the Müller Milk & Ingredients Distribution team. This is a permanent, full-time role offering flexibility, modern vehicles, and no overnight stays.

As an Inbound Tanker Driver, your primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently transport milk from farms to different sites within the network (including loading and reloading), ensuring timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and compliance with all safety and transportation regulation.

Class 1 Pay Rates

Monday - Friday (AM) £17.30

Monday - Friday (PM) £19.77

Saturday (AM) £19.46

Saturday (PM) £21.92

Sunday (AM) £25.95

Sunday (PM) £28.42

Overtime £19.46

Role Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety, complete vehicle checks, plan routes, and maintain professionalism as the face of our business.
• Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly.
• Forward thinking, route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient.
• Highly professional in all situations as you are the interface between the business and our customer base.
