Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is seeking a Class 1 LGV C+E driver to join our Bristol Depot, delivering Müller products to supermarkets across the network. This full-time role has no overnight stays and offers a modern fleet and a reliable schedule.

Shifts are 5 days over 7 with varied AM/PM start times. Pay ranges from £17.30 to £28.42 per hour, with overtime at £19.46 and a £300 monthly retention bonus. Potential earnings exceed £46,000 per year for the right spread of shifts.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E) with CPC and digital tachograph card.
• CPC qualification and valid digital driving card.
• No more than 6 minor points on licence are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Timely deliveries with accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Prioritise safety and respect other road users.
• Carry out driver and vehicle checks diligently and on time.
• Plan routes considering safety restrictions, works, and traffic.

Shift Pattern

5 days over 7 inclusive of weekends AM and PM shifts available

• Thursday-Monday AM (1AM start time)
• Thursday-Monday AM (1AM start time)
• Friday-Tuesday AM (1AM start time)
• Thursday- Monday (3PM Start time)
• Wednesday - Sunday (3PM Start time)
• Thursday- Monday (3PM Start time)

Rate of Pay

£17.30per hour - £28.42 per hour

Overtime rate

£19.46

£300 retention bonus paid monthly from 1st October 2025.

Potential on target earning from £46,000 per annum (dependent on shift pattern)

Class 1 Driver Role & Responsibilities

• Timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and compliance with all safety and transportation regulation
• Puts safety first and respects all other road users.
• Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly.
• Forward thinking, route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient.
• Highly professional in all situations as you are the interface between the business and our customer base.

Class 1 DriverKey Skills & Experience

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E)
• Current CPC and digital driving card
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
• Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the role.
• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
• Self - motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable
