Job summary

FORDE RECRUITMENT LIMITED is recruiting for National courier and logistics company seeking Class 2/LGV C Drivers based at Barnsley site. You will complete nationwide deliveries in various vehicle classes and perform transport administration with safety responsibilities.

Role requires full HGV C licence, 24+ months experience, good English, and ability to do two nights out weekly. Permanent/ongoing shifts with 45 hours per week and overtime available.

Qualifications

• Hold a full HGV C driving licence.
• Minimum 24 months' driving experience for Driver Negligible Incident (DNI).
• Demonstrate a good level of English speaking and written communication skills.
• Have a maximum of 6 points on your licence for minor offences (DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements will not be accepted).
• Possess a UK Driving Licence, Digi Tachograph Card, and CPC Card.
• Ability to complete at least 2 nights out per week

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient transportation across the country.
• Carry out transport administration.
• Drive in a fuel-efficient manner and maintain compliance with EU Driver Hours and RTD regulations.
• Adhere to safe systems of work and perform pre- and post-vehicle checks.
• Complete up to 2 nights out per week (more if preferred).

Job description

Our client, a national courier and logistics company are seeking a number of Class 2/ LGV C Drivers to join their Team.

Based out of their Distribution Site in Barnsley manufacturing site you will be responsible for completing deliveries nationally in a variety of vehicle classes.

LGV C Driver Job Description:

As a Class 2 / LGV C Driver, you will be responsible for safe and efficient transportation across the country. Key duties include completing necessary transport administration, driving in a fuel-efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all EU Driver Hours and RTD Regulations, adhering to safe systems of work, and conducting pre and post vehicle checks. You will be expected to carryout a potential of 2 nights our per week with more available if preferred.

LGV C Driver Rates (PAYE): Mon - Fri £15.85

Requirements:

• Hold a full HGV C driving licence.
