Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking LGV C+E drivers to join their Leicester-area operation (LE12). You will transport full loads to national locations, using curtain-sided trucks, and return to the depot with an empty trailer. No handball is required, and typical runs involve 1–2 drops on both days and nights.

• A full UK driving licence with category CE entitlement.
• Min age 21.
• Min 6 month experience.
• No more than 6 current penalty points.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years.

• Check the vehicle regularly and report any issues
• Drive safely and follow all traffic laws
• Deliver goods on time, in full and to the correct address
• Communicate politely with customers

Job description

Our client based in LE12 are looking for LGV C+E Drivers on both Days and Nights shifts. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting full loads directly to various National locations. Your role involves delivering these goods using curtain sided vehicles, then returning to the depot with an empty trailer. There is no handball required for this role and usually 1 - 2 drops.

Days: £16.38 - £17.05 Start time 05:30am

Nights: £17.48 - £18.19 Start time 17:30pm

Maximum pay achieved after 12 weeks
