Job summary

Biffa Group is seeking an LGV Driver for the AM shift in London (SW8 4TR). You will drive LGV vehicles to collect trade waste from customers, starting at 04:00, Thursday to Monday, working outdoors.

This role suits self-motivated individuals who can work in a hands-on environment, improving local environments and communities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• Must hold a valid Driver CPC / DQC.
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles including front and back loaders to collect bins from trade waste customers.
• Work outdoors using your own initiative to improve the local environment and communities.

£19.46p/h

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
