Job summary

Biffa Group is seeking an LGV Driver for PM shifts in the UK. Mon-Fri with overtime available. Start/finish from 15:00 to 00:30, paying £16.87 per hour plus back shift allowance. You will operate trade waste LGV vehicles, collecting and emptying bins on outdoor routes, using your initiative to keep communities clean.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV/rigid vehicles including front and back loaders for trade waste collection.
• Operate as part of a single-person crew handling routes with initiative.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Deliver good customer service during on-site and on-route interactions.

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
