Job summary

Biffa Waste Services is seeking an LGV Driver for the AM shift, work Monday to Friday from 04:00, 45 hours per week, with overtime available. You will operate LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting trade waste and bulker from customers.

Experience in trade waste and bulker operations is required; a valid LGV/HGV Class 2 licence and Driver CPC are essential. The role combines outdoor work with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Trade Waste and Bulker Experience.
• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures

Responsibilities

Job description

LGV Driver - AM SHIFT TRADE WASTE

Monday - Friday (45 hours per week)

Start Time: 04:00

£16.87p/h (Overtime available)

Trade Waste and Bulker experience required.

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
