Job summary

Biffa Group in Corby is seeking an LGV Driver for the AM shift in Trade Waste. Start time 04:00, Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with overtime available.

You will drive LGV vehicles including front and back loaders to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers, working outdoors with initiative. The role requires trade waste and bulker experience and a valid LGV/HGV Class 2 licence and Driver CPC.

Qualifications

• Trade Waste and Bulker experience required.
• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Country C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

LGV Driver - AM SHIFT TRADE WASTE

Monday - Friday (45 hours per week)

Start Time: 04:00

£16.87p/h (Overtime available)

Trade Waste and Bulker experience required.

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
