Job summary

Biffa in Greater London is seeking an LGV Driver for the AM shift to start at 05:00. You will drive LGV vehicles to collect and empty bins from our trade waste customers, working as part of a single-person crew and taking initiative outdoors.

This role offers on-the-job training, access to Biffa Perkz discounts, and family-friendly policies. We value safety and community impact as we keep streets clean and recycle waste across the region.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles to collect and empty bins from our trade waste customers.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Work as part of a single person crew delivering a reliable service.
