Biffa Waste Services is seeking an LGV Driver for the AM shift, operating on a Monday–Friday pattern with occasional weekend work. You will drive various LGV vehicles, collect bins from trade waste customers and work outdoors as part of a small crew.

The role requires a valid LGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, and a solid understanding of road safety and tachograph rules. Benefits include pension and discounts through Biffa perks.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures.

Responsabilités

• Drive LGV vehicles to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers.
• Work as part of a single-person crew, outdoors, using your initiative to keep the local environment clean.

LGV Driver - AM Shift

Monday - Friday (occasional scheduled weekend work)

Pay rate: £16.87p/h

Start Time: 04:00

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
