Biffa Group is seeking an LGV Driver for the AM shift, Monday to Friday, with start at 04:00 and finish by 13:30. You will operate LGV vehicles (front/back loaders) to collect and empty trade waste bins for local customers.

Overtime is available and duties are outdoors, requiring initiative and reliability. The role suits someone who understands road and vehicle safety, can perform daily vehicle checks, and communicates well with customers.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures

Responsabilités

• Drive LGV vehicles including front and back loaders to collect bins from trade waste customers
• Work outdoors and take initiative to complete tasks efficiently
• Report defects and perform daily vehicle checks as required

LGV Driver - AM SHIFT

Monday - Friday (overtime available)

Start/Finish times: 04.00 to 13.30

£16.87p/h

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
