Job summary

Biffa Waste Services is hiring an LGV Driver for the AM shift based at Burgess Hill Depot. You will drive LGV vehicles, performing bin collection for trade waste customers and working outdoors with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role offers 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an hourly rate of £16.87 and occasional Saturday overtime. Ongoing training and employee benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold full LGV Class 2 driving licence (Category C).
• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Understanding of drivers’ hours regulations and road safety.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles (front and back loaders) to collect bins from trade waste customers.
• Work as part of a single-person crew, operating outdoors.
• Maintain safety, vehicle condition and compliance with regulations.

Job description

LGV Driver - AM Shift

Location: Burgess Hill Depot
Days of work: Monday to Friday (45 hours per week)
Start Time: 04.00am
Hourly Rate: £16.87 (Occasional Saturday overtime)

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
