Biffa Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an LGV 2 Driver for an AM shift to operate front and back loaders on trade waste routes. This role involves early starts (05:00) and occasional weekend cover, driving a large rigid vehicle and performing daily safety checks.

You will work as a solo driver, outdoors, making a positive impact on local environments and communities while following Biffa’s safety standards and service quality expectations.

Formación

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Drive various LGV vehicles, including front and back loaders, on trade waste routes.
• Collect and empty bins as part of a single-person crew.
• Work outdoors with initiative and contribute to local environmental improvements.

LGV 2 Driver - AM Shift

Monday to Friday (occasional weekend cover)

Start/Finish Times: 05.00 to 14.30

Hourly Rate: £16.87

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
