Job summary

Biffa Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an LGV Driver for the AM shift. You will operate LGV vehicles, including front and back loaders, to collect bins from trade waste customers. The role runs Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Full LGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence is required.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and regulations.
• Previous HGV driving experience desirable.
• Able to perform daily vehicle safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles including front and back loaders for trade waste customers.
• Work as part of a single person crew delivering outdoor tasks.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Adhere to start times and potential weekend shifts as needed.

Requirements

• Full LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of road safety and driver regulations
• Previous HGV driving experience desirable
• Confident driving and manoeuvring a large rigid vehicle
• Able to carry out daily vehicle safety checks
