Job summary

Biffa Ltd in Taunton is seeking a LGV 2 Driver AM to join our team. The role runs Monday to Friday with a start time of 04:00, based in Taunton, Somerset. The position offers a permanent, full-time contract with an annual salary of £39,475 and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles to collect and empty bins for trade waste customers.

LGV Driver AM Shift

Monday to Friday

Start Time: 04.00

Hourly rate - £16.87p/h

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
