Job summary

Biffa Waste Services is seeking an LGV2 Bin Delivery Driver in Abingdon. You will deliver up to 100 bins daily across South/Vale, operate a Class 2 vehicle, and ensure timely deliveries with strong customer service and safety standards.

The role suits someone who thrives outdoors, with initiative and potential leadership, working Monday to Friday, 5:30–15:00, and a competitive salary of around £43,912 per year.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Hold a valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Have prior commercial HGV driving experience.
• Multi drop experience is desirable.
• Be able to carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Confident following planned routes and collecting safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver up to 100 bins per day within South/ Vale districts.
• Safely operate an LGV Class 2 vehicle to deliver bins to commercial and residential customers.

LGV 2 Bin Delivery Driver

Days of work: Monday to Friday (42.5 hours per week)

Start and finish times: 05.30 to 15.00

Pay : £19.87p/h Salary £43,912

Delivering up to 100 bins per day within South/Vale districts

Safely operating an LGV Class 2 vehicle to deliver bins to commercial and residential customers, ensuring timely deliveries, completing vehicle checks and maintaining excellent customer service and health and safety standards.
