Exciting opportunity for a Leveraged Finance Large Cap Credit Director to join a Global Corporate & Investment Bank in London.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Utilize Credit Officer level delegated authority.
2. Conduct senior-level review and challenge within a Level 2 function of LBO-related front office and Loan Capital Markets credit applications, implementing the bank's Risk Appetite Framework.
3. Apply deep and extensive credit knowledge and transaction experience to assess credit and market risk of net take and underwriting positions, focusing on large cap sponsor and crossover corporate transactions.
4. Lead interactions with bank product divisions on all reviewed transactions, maintaining high independence and oversight by head office on strategic matters.
5. Manage requests and approvals from the leveraged loan portfolio, including evaluation, challenge, and recommendations on waivers, reviews, and credit monitoring.
6. Participate in Credit Reviews to set strategy and assess provisions.
7. Lead, manage, and develop a team of VP/AVP credit officers, contributing to the growth of the LBO team within the Credit Department, aligning with the Business Strategy of EMEA.
8. Challenge existing processes to strengthen control functions and enhance capabilities, processes, and systems.
9. Develop and deliver training on all aspects of LBO risk, including grading, documentation, and credit analysis.
10. Create processes to expedite decision-making for crossover corporate transactions, collaborating with corporate and large cap/corporate coverage teams.
11. Own the assessment and review of Large Cap/Crossover strategy to ensure account plans align with strategic objectives and risk/reward parameters are acceptable.
