Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting experienced Level 4 Teaching Assistants to work within primary schools across Manchester and surrounding areas. This role is suited to candidates who have progressed beyond Level 3 and are looking for greater responsibility within the classroom, including supporting interventions, pupil progress and SEND provision.

The ideal candidate holds a recognised Level 4 Teaching Assistant or relevant equivalent qualification, has strong recent experience working within a UK

Qualifications

• Holds a recognised Level 4 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification.
• Recent experience in a UK primary school.
• Experience with SEND is highly desirable.
• Confident delivering interventions and supporting pupil progress.
• Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-level classroom support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Delivering targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions
• Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH and additional learning needs
• Assisting teachers with planning, preparation and assessment
• Supporting phonics, literacy and numeracy interventions
• Helping pupils develop independence, confidence and positive behaviour
• Supporting classroom routines and learning activities
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and wider support teams
• Taking on additional responsibilities within the classroom where required
