Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking Level 2 and 3 Teaching Assistants to support children with SEND in mainstream primary schools across Lambeth. You will provide 1:1 tailored support and work with class teachers and SENCOs to help pupils reach their potential in an inclusive environment.

We welcome patient, empathetic candidates with experience in SEND. A Level 2/3 TA qualification is desirable and an Enhanced DBS is preferred or willingness to apply.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience supporting children with additional needs
• Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 desirable)
• Has previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within SEND or inclusion
• Confident supporting pupils with additional needs in a mainstream primary setting
• Patient, empathetic, and committed to pupil progress and well-being
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils within welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary schools across Lambeth. The Ideal Candidate:

• At least 6 months experience supporting children with additional needs
• Ideally hold minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 desirable)
• Has previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within SEND or inclusion
• Confident supporting pupils with additional needs in a mainstream primary setting
• Patient, empathetic, and committed to pupil progress and well-being
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

Pay:

• £93 per day for candidates with a minimum of 3 months experience supporting children or young people in an educational, care or SEND setting.
• £105 per day for candidates who hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and have over 3 years experience supporting pupils with SEND including ASC, ADHD, SEMH or SLD or experience with personal care.
