Smile Education is recruiting a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bradley Green, with easy access from Hyde, Denton, Dukinfield, Ashton-under-Lyne, Stalybridge, Gee Cross, Mottram, Broadbottom and Glossop. This is a full-time, one-term opportunity supporting a Year 6 class from September 2026.

The school is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant who can make an immediate impact while they complete a permanent recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Experience in UK primary schools.
• Ability to cover lessons when required.
• Experience supporting children with SEN, including ADHD.
• Knowledge of Year 6 and SATs preparation.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Positive, proactive and reliable approach.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning within a Year 6 classroom.
• Confidently cover lessons when required.
• Support pupils with additional needs, including ADHD.
• Assist pupils in preparing for Year 6 SATs.
• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality learning.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Experience working in UK primary schools.
• Confidence leading a class when required.
• Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ADHD.
• Knowledge of Year 6 and SATs preparation.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• A positive, proactive and reliable approach.
