Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in primary schools across Wythenshawe. Location: Wythenshawe, hours 8:30am-3:30pm, temporary flexible supply with start ASAP, pay £92.63-£120 per day depending on qualifications and experience.

You should have a Level 3 TA qualification, be eligible to work in the UK, have an enhanced DBS, and provide two references. Safeguarding training is encouraged; there may be long-term opportunities depending on performance.

Qualifications

• Hold Right to Work in the UK - no sponsorship available
• Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references that cover the last two years, including any appropriate child-related work experience
• Appropriate CV history including mention of any employment/studying gaps
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• SEN/SEMH Awareness desirable
• Previous experience working in a UK school, ideally up to at least 6 months
• Updated training including safeguarding, prevent and allergy + anaphylaxis training (desirable however not essential as training is provided)

Responsibilities

• Provide general classroom support to pupils
• Offer 1:1 support as and when required
• Participate in wider school life

Prospero Teaching is looking for Primary Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Wythenshawe.

Acting as a work-finding service, we provide supply cover to a range of primary schools in South Manchester. We are currently looking for Level 3 Teaching Assistants to lead interventions and provide adhoc class cover when required. There may also be some long-term opportunities available.

Prospero Teaching work with both experienced Teaching Assistants and those first embarking on their career in education by helping you find your next position. Some contracts may be extended from day-to-day bookings to longer term cover.
