Tradewind Recruitment LTD. are seeking an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a Warrington primary school in a full-time position.

The role involves supporting a KS1 class with strong SEN needs, managing behaviours, and providing PPA cover to ensure smooth daily learning. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO, contributing to a positive classroom environment and delivering targeted interventions.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

• Confident delivering small-group and 1:1 interventions.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant - WA5 Warrington | Full-Time

Location: WA5, Warrington

Contract: Temp to perm for the right candidate.

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant in Warrington to work full-time within a Key Stage 1 classroom at a primary school in the WA5 area. The school is looking for a confident and proactive Teaching Assistant with strong SEN experience and behaviour management skills, due to the additional needs and behaviours of children within the classroom.

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in Warrington, you'll work closely with the class teacher to support learning, manage behaviour and help create a positive classroom environment. You'll also be required to provide PPA cover, so confidence leading classroom activities is essential.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting teaching and learning across KS1
• Providing SEN support to pupils with additional needs
• Managing challenging behaviour using positive strategies
• Delivering small-group and individual interventions
• Providing PPA cover and leading classroom activities
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

What we're looking for

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
• Confidence providing PPA cover
• Experience working within KS1 or primary education
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
