Job summary

Jubilee Academy, part of the Academy Transformation Trust, is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support class teachers in raising pupil attainment and promoting independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. The successful candidate will hold GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or higher, plus an NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.

First aid training is essential, with KS2 and SEND experience preferred.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or higher.
• NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• First aid training or willingness to undertake.
• KS2 experience and SEND experience.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils individually or in groups to access the curriculum.
• Promote independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
• Work with class teachers to raise learning and attainment.
• Assist with KS2-level activities in a primary setting.
