Job summary

Saltley Academy in Birmingham seeks a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support learners within the Resource Base. The role requires strong knowledge of SEND co-ordination and autism needs, with experience in a school setting across all key stages.

You will work collaboratively to cultivate personalised learning and contribute to school development. The successful candidate will be reflective, flexible, and committed to upholding the Trust’s standards while supporting inclusive education and ongoing

Qualifications

  • Qualified Practitioner with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Sound knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice, especially around Autism.
  • Experience in a school environment covering all key stages.
  • Reflective and flexible practitioner committed to personalised learning.
  • Willing to contribute to the school and Trust standards.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant (ResourceBase)

Weare looking for a Teaching Assistant who;
  • Will have a sound knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice, especially around the needs of students with Autism
  • Has experience of working in a school environmentand has experience of all key stages.
  • Is a qualified Practitioner withqualifications such as NVQ Level 3.
  • Has proven skills that will contribute to agrowing team within the school's Resource Base provision
  • Is a reflective and flexible practitioner.
  • Is committed to developing personalisedlearning.
  • Will contribute to the development of theschool and the Washwood Heath Multi Academy Trust in raising standards.
