Prospero Teaching are recruiting on behalf of a specialist high school in Failsworth, Greater Manchester who are looking for a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join their team.

The school is for children in KS3 (aged 13-15 years old) with significant social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Students attending may have witnessed developmental trauma, and the centre focussing on a tailored approach to learning.

The school are looking for those that are confident and experience in leading and delivering intervention groups to students with lower ability and/or additional needs.

The school are looking for someone who is confident, dedicated and excels in behaviour management.

The role will consist of:

• Providing tailored support and working with children with SEN (special education needs)
• Creating a safe environment that allows the children to have fun, learn and succeed
• Academic support of a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Assisting the teacher

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience of supporting pupils with SEN on a voluntary or paid basis
• Location – Oldham, Greater Manchester
• Position – Level 3 Teaching Assistant
• Contract Type – Temporary (with possible permanent opportunities)
• Hours – (Term Time only) Monday – Friday
