Job Description

Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Primary)

Area: Manchester (M20)

Monarch Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 Qualification to support learners at a Primary School in South Manchester (M20). The school is known for its community feel and supportive Senior Leadership Team. The Teaching Assistant will support learners to make progress across all subjects. Candidates should have experience working with children, ideally in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the classroom teacher
• Monitoring and evaluating pupil progress
• Delivering small group interventions
• Behaviour management
• Working closely with other teaching staff

Requirements of the Candidate

• Experience working with young people, preferably in a classroom setting
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
• Strong team player with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, capable of supporting and inspiring children to learn
• Ability to commute to the M20 area
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working collaboratively in a dynamic and supportive environment
• Ability to adapt to an ever-changing workload
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs (desirable but not essential)
