Job summary

Academics is seeking a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the Bexley area, starting ASAP. Full-time, standard school hours.

The ideal candidate will have Level 3 TA qualification and school-based experience, a positive, patient approach, strong communication and teamwork, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff. Driving is preferred, though reliable public transport is acceptable. DBS enhanced required.

LEVEL 3 TEACHING ASSISTANT

Location: Bexley
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-time, standard school hours
Setting: School-based

We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the Bexley area, starting as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting pupils and helping them achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

• Previous school-based experience

• A positive, patient and nurturing approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Good classroom and behaviour management skills

• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• A reliable and professional approach to work

• Driving is preferred, although candidates who can reliably travel by public transport will be considered

Safeguarding Requirements:

• An enhanced DBS is required

• Candidates with a suitable DBS already in place are welcome to apply

• If you do not currently have a DBS, you must be willing to apply for a new enhanced DBS

• References and safeguarding checks will be completed

Working Hours

Full-time - standard school day hours, Monday to Friday.
