Academics is seeking a reliable Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a full-time role in Dartford. You will support pupils across KS1 and KS2, handling a range of needs including challenging behaviour, while adhering to safeguarding procedures.

The ideal candidate holds Level 3 TA qualification, has school experience, and may have SEN experience. A DBS or willingness to apply for one is required, and a driving licence is preferred to enable flexible year-group support.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Experience working in a school.
• SEN experience would be an advantage.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour calmly and consistently.
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures and school policies.
• DBS check or willingness to apply for a new one.

Responsabilités

• Support pupils across KS1 and KS2.
• Work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm.
• Follow school safeguarding guidance and report concerns.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We're looking for a reliable and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a school in Dartford, with a start available as soon as possible.

This is a full-time role supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2. You'll need to be confident working with a range of needs, including pupils who may display challenging behaviour.

You should have:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification


• Previous experience working within a school


• SEN experience would be an advantage


• Confidence managing challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent way


• A good understanding of safeguarding procedures and school policies


• The ability to follow safeguarding guidance and report concerns appropriately


• A current DBS, or willingness to apply for a new one


• A driving licence is preferred


• A positive and flexible approach to supporting pupils across different year groups
