Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Rossendale. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, starting 23rd November until the end of the academic year.

You will work across KS1 and KS2, supporting teachers, delivering small group interventions and phonics sessions. Experience supporting pupils, especially with SEN, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Has experience supporting pupils in primary school settings.
• Confident leading interventions and phonics groups.
• Comfortable working across KS1 and KS2.
• Experienced supporting children with SEN.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (30-minute lunch)

Start Date: 23rd November | Until the End of the Academic Year

We are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Rossendale that is looking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from 23rd November until the end of the academic year.

This is a varied role where your timetable will be split across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing classroom support, leading interventions, and helping pupils make excellent progress.

The Role:

• Supporting teaching and learning across both KS1 and KS2.
• Delivering small group interventions to boost attainment.
• Leading and supporting phonics sessions.
• Working closely with class teachers to support pupil progress.
• Providing targeted support for children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Has experience supporting pupils in primary school settings.
• Confident leading interventions and phonics groups.
• Comfortable working across different year groups in KS1 and KS2.
