Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is assisting a small, welcoming village primary school in the OL12 area to recruit a Level 3 Teaching Assistant.

The successful candidate will support pupils across KS1 and KS2, working with teachers to ensure children receive the necessary help to thrive. Responsibilities include classroom and individual pupil support, delivering targeted interventions, and supporting phonics teaching.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working in a primary school setting.
• Confident supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2.
• Experience delivering phonics.
• Experience delivering interventions either individually or in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across KS1 and KS2.
• Provide classroom and individual pupil support.
• Deliver targeted interventions where required.
• Support learning, development and pupil confidence.
• Use a range of strategies to engage and motivate pupils.
• Work closely with teachers and the wider school team.
• Support phonics teaching and interventions.
