Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Level 3 SEND LSA for a welcoming primary SEND school in Sheldon, Birmingham. The role is full-time and long-term, starting in September, supporting pupils with complex needs including PMLD, SLD, and communication difficulties.

You will work closely with teaching staff to provide high-quality support both in and out of the classroom. Ideally you hold Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent, with SEND experience, EHCP knowledge, and a patient, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Knowledge of EHCPs and complex needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Patient and proactive approach.
• Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND in and out of the classroom.
• Work closely with teaching staff to deliver high-quality support.
• Assist with planning and implementing learning activities.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
